How to Market a Sweepstakes Casino When Google and Meta Ads Say No

Paid ads are mostly closed. Here is what still works.

October 18, 2026 · LaunchSweeps

Google updated its ad policy in late 2025 to treat sweepstakes casinos like gambling, and Meta restricts gambling ads too. For most new operators that means the big paid-ad channels are closed. The good news: the channels that work were never the paid ones.

What works instead

  • Affiliates. Review and comparison sites send players for a commission. Pick partners whose audience is in the states you serve.
  • Creators and streamers. Players trust people they already watch. Disclose sponsorships clearly.
  • Organic social. Short videos of real game moments and big wins, posted daily. Show the product, not stock photos.
  • Referrals. Reward players for bringing friends, with rewards that unlock only when the friend is verified.
  • Email and SMS. With consent, reminders about daily rewards bring players back cheaply.

Retention beats acquisition

A new player is expensive; a returning one is almost free. Daily rewards on a streak, a prize wheel, loyalty ranks and birthday rewards give players a reason to open the app every day. Build those in before you spend on growth.

Stay inside the lines

  • Never market in states you block.
  • Never target minors or use content that appeals to them.
  • Say "no purchase necessary" where your rules require it.
LaunchSweeps ships with daily rewards, a prize wheel, five loyalty ranks, birthday rewards and refer-a-friend, so retention works from day one. Book a demo.
